Martha Peace Event

  Martha is a gifted teacher and exhorter. She worked for eight years as a biblical counselor at the Atlanta Biblical Counseling Center on Old National Highway, College Park, Georgia,where she counseled women, children, and teenagers. For the past five years she has presented workshops on various biblical counseling issues for women at the national conference for NANC. She also instructed for 6 years at Carver Bible Institute and College in Atlanta where she taught women’s classes including “The Excellent Wife,” “Introduction to Biblical Counseling,” “Advanced Biblical Counseling,” “Personal Purity,” and “The Book of Esther.” Martha has authored books entitled The Excellent Wife, The Study Guide to The Excellent Wife, and Becoming a Titus 2 Woman.

Martha is active with her family at Faith Bible Church located just outside Peachtree City, Georgia, where she teaches Children’s Church and ladies’ Bible study classes. In addition, she conducts seminars for ladies’ groups on topics such as “Raising Kids Without Raising Cain,” “The Excellent Wife,” “Becoming a Titus 2 Woman,” “Having a High View of God,” and “Personal Purity.” Martha has been married to her high school sweetheart, Sanford, since September of 1966. They have two grown children and twelve grandchildren.

      We have been focusing our studies on the building up of the Saints. Women play a vital part in society, the family and the church and not enough has been done to help our women in their walk with the Lord, their daily struggles, and their challenges for future generations. We desire that our life will be a life lived in the power of the gospel, a life lived that accurately reflects Biblical womanhood, and a life lived to the glory of God in all aspects.

      As Christian women, our lives begin with the gospel. Are you seeing Jesus as your loving Savior? Martha Peace will share her own journey with God, testifying to His power and might in her life, and then help us, As Biblical women who are being constantly challenged by the culture in which we live. Martha will talk about biblical principles on how to renew your mind with Scripture. This also includes a practical application on humility, gratitude and obedience. Have you ever felt anxious or depressed? Do you struggle with vanity or find yourself caught in a cycle of manipulation? Martha will take us to the Bible to address these topics and teach us that the best way to ‘deal with it" in our life is with God's Word.

      Our prayer is that older and younger women will build their legacies together as they study God's Word together, reflect Biblical womanhood together and practically live out their faith together.
